Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program
Protecting intellectual property on Desh Zamin
The Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program lets owners of trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property report listings on Desh Zamin that infringe their rights. It helps keep counterfeit and copied products off our marketplace, so buyers can shop with confidence.
Desh Zamin respects intellectual property rights protected under Bangladesh law, including the Trademarks Act 2009 and the Copyright Act 2023.

How to report a listing
1. Gather the details
Note the link to each listing, the right being infringed (for example, a trademark registration number or proof of copyright), and why the listing infringes it.
2. Send us a notice
Email info@deshzamin.com with the subject “VeRO notice”. Include your name, company, contact details, the listing links, proof of your rights and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate. If you act for a rights owner, attach your letter of authorisation.
3. We review and act
Our team reviews each notice. If a listing infringes your rights, we remove it and inform the seller.
Information for sellers
If your listing was removed after a VeRO notice and you believe it was a mistake, contact us with evidence, such as invoices from the brand or an authorised distributor. Sellers who repeatedly list infringing products may have their accounts restricted.
Only list products that you have the right to sell, and use your own photos and descriptions.
